A Day in the Life of a Junior Software Engineer

You'll actively engage with external partners to integrate cutting-edge technologies, troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, and contribute to the full lifecycle of our applications - from initial design and development through rigorous testing and deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with 3rd party organizations to implement and manage software integrations based on business needs.
• Tackle day-to-day technology issues related to existing programs, ensuring seamless operations.
• Craft code that meets rigorous technical requirements, adhering to software quality standards and secure coding practices.
• Develop unit test plans, perform and document unit tests to guarantee the reliability of our software.
• Provide estimates for review with lead software engineers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications, including technical specifications for features and functional and non-functional requirements.
• Thrive in a collaborative development environment, offering and seeking technical guidance from your team members.
• Provide valuable support to external organizations offering development services.
• Operate within the application development pipeline, ensuring that our processes align with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Change Management procedures.

Experience and Education:

• Two or more years' experience in Web application design and development, including JavaScript and Web Services or transferrable experience
• Experience working with the .NET Framework, including WinForms, WebForms, LINQ, WCF, and ASP.NET Web API
• Experience with AngularJS, jQuery, JSON, HTML5, CSS3, XCode
• Experience with troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, a related field, or relevant experience
